Project Details

In 2011, following concerns about the delivery of the project, Cranbrook appointed EPM to take over the management of the construction of its new Junior School at Rose Bay. EPM assembled and led a revitalised team of consultants and contractors to undertake and complete the project. The project included all the facilities that are normally associated with a K-6 school along with leading-edge indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. The project was delivered in two stages with the first stage completed in mid-2011 and the second stage in April 2012. EPM Project provided project management services that commenced with undertaking a review of the project and developing a strategy to complete the project including a review of design, and managing the replacement of the head contractor under a construction management arrangement, the novation of all subcontractors and suppliers, project oversight, superintendence, contract administration, and defects management.
