Code of Conduct
EPM subscribes to a policy requiring and expecting certain behavioural standards from its own personnel and its clients’ personnel in the performance of their duties and in their dealings with each other.
- Having integrity, care, professionalism and courtesy in their interactions with each other;
- Disclosing any real or perceived conflict of interests;
- Avoiding conduct and language that intimidates, threatens or abuses any other person;
- Being well groomed and professionally attired in the workplace;
- Maintaining a consistent and timeous work schedule;
- Abiding at all times with Australian law regarding anti-discrimination, anti-harassment and anti-bullying in the workplace.
Peter A. Roach
Peter is a Director of EPM Projects Pty Ltd and Chair of the Board of Directors. Peter is a Non-Executive Director of several Trustee companies, Not-for-Profit Foundations and various private family groups. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of the Fairfax Family Office, Cambooya Pty Limited. Peter is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW), Master of Business Administration (SCU) and a Master of Letters (CQU). He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Peter served as a Board Member of the Knox Grammar School Council and was Chair from 2013 to 2018. He is also currently a Board Member of Ravenswood School for Girls and UCA Redress Ltd, part of The Uniting Church in Australia.
Andrew Graham
Andrew is a Non-Executive Director of EPM Projects Pty Ltd and founded EPM in 2001. Andrew is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Andrew has over 40 years’ experience in the property and construction industry in Australia in roles as a contractor, client and consultant. During this time, Andrew has held a wide range of positions in large and small public and private companies including Leighton Contractors, Optus Communications and the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games.
Johan O’Brien
Johan joined EPM in 2007 as a Project Coordinator. Johan has over 20 years experience in the property and construction industry, including earlier experience as a structural and civil design engineer. He holds a comprehensive understanding of the challenges of development, gained from assisting clients with a variety of activities including due diligence investigation, feasibility studies, property acquisition and court appeals.
Mark Blizard
Mark joined EPM in 2010. Mark has over 34 years of construction industry experience that has been acquired through roles from Site Clerk through to Project Manager on construction sites and from Divisional Manager through to Business Development Director within the corporate structure of construction companies.
Danaë Bain
Danaë joined EPM in 2014. Danaë’s industry sector experience includes Education, Health, Retail, Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Infrastructure projects (ranging from $1M to $70M in value) for both Government and Private Sector Clients. Prior to joining EPM, Danaë worked in architectural practices within South Africa and in Australia. Danaë has an eye for detail, and is committed to achieving quality outcomes for clients.
Todd Ewart
Todd Joined EPM in 2015. In his extensive background as a Structural Engineer, Todd has led multi-discipline project teams through all stages of the project lifecycle. He has been involved from the concept design stages through to the detailed design, construction and project handover. His success has been recognised by clients which has allowed him to build and maintain important relationships to secure future projects.
Michelle Scott
Michelle joined EPM in 2021. Prior to this, Michelle worked in the independent school sector for 15 years, including 12 years as the Business Manager of Roseville College. Michelle was Chair of the Association of School Business Administrators (ASBA) Professional Development Committee, and ASBA (NSW) Chapter Vice President and President. Michelle’s career experience also includes roles as a Financial Accountant and Analyst.
Stephen Earp
Stephen joined EPM in 2022. Stephen has over 15 years of experience in town planning including statutory and strategic planning. His expertise includes government and non-government schools, aged care, health care, subdivision, residential, industrial, and mixed use. Prior to joining EPM, Stephen was a Principal Planner and then Partner for DFP Planning Pty Ltd for over 11 years.
Graham Thomas
Graham joined EPM in 2022. Graham has extensive experience in facilities management, having been Property Manager for Richard Johnson Anglican College and Roseville College. Graham’s expertise in facilities management is enriched by his experience in new builds, renovations, asset coordination, procurement, tendering, contractor supervision and managing facilities management teams.
Jordan Graham
Jordan joined EPM in 2015 as a Project Coordinator from Jacobs (formerly SKM). Over that time, Jordan has been promoted through the positions of Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and now Associate. Jordans experience includes managing complex aged care and retirement living villages for Stockland and Retire Australia, healthcare facilities for Healius and a broad range of independent school projects.
Ryan Aitken
Ryan joined EPM in 2015 as a Project Coordinator. Over that time, Ryan has been promoted through the positions of Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and now Associate. Ryan’s experience includes dental clinics for HCF, child care facilities for Only About Children, the fitout of the head off of Healius, retirement living villages for Stockland, and a broad range of independent schools.
Danica Larkin
Danica joined EPM in 2016. Danica has 10+ years’ experience in business administration and oversees the entire administrative operations of EPM, including human resources and finance. Danica offers high-level comprehensive support to the CEO, Board, and other Executives. Danica is also involved in, and passionate about, team engagement and staff wellbeing initiatives.
Penny Smith
Penny joined EPM in 2022 and brings a diverse set of skills from her background in social issues marketing and communications, stakeholder engagement, construction, and urban planning over the past 25 years. Penny has an excellent understanding of planning pathways, a thorough knowledge of the NSW planning system and is focused on providing high quality service to her clients. Prior to joining EPM, Penny was a Principal Planner at DFP Planning for over 5 years.
Laurence Shanahan
Laurence joined EPM is 2015 as a Project Coordinator. Since then, Laurence has gained valuable skills and experience, resulting in his promotions to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and currently is an Associate. Laurence has managed a variety of projects during his time at EPM, including numerous independent schools, including Barker College, Ascham School and Sydney Grammar School, and office fit-out projects for clients including Optus and NCS.
